Wes Moss is a Partner at Wela Strategies. He began his career at Prudential Securities as a financial advisor before joining the Atlanta office of UBS Financial Services as Vice President – Investments and becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Wes merged his wealth management practice with CIA, becoming a partner in 2009. CIA is an Atlanta-based fee-only investment management firm that specializes in retirement income planning and manages more than $1 billion, making it one of Georgia’s largest fee-only investment firms.
A passion for teaching has made Wes Moss a fixture in the financial media. He is the host of “Money Matters,” a live financial advice show heard on Atlanta’s 95.5 FM and AM 750 News/Talk WSB Radio Sundays from 9am to 11am. He’s also a weekly personal finance contributor for AJC.com, the website of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, in the “Bargain Hunter Section.”
Wes has written two books, Make More, Worry Less and Starting from Scratch. He has appeared frequently on CNBC, Fox Business Network and local television to share his observations and advice about the economy and investing.
Moss holds a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is married and has three children (all boys) and enjoys tennis, triathlons and spending time with his family.
