In 2012, Eddie Goepp joined Wela Strategies as a Client Strategist, with a desire to help build the firm around providing independent, research-driven investment strategies and financial advice to both advisors and individual clients. Eddie has been in the financial services industry for his entire career. He most recently spent two years as a registered representative with a local financial planning firm here in Atlanta. Prior to that, Eddie spent over three years as a financial analyst with Houlihan Lokey, an investment banking firm, in the Financial Advisory Services practice.
Eddie attended the University of Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance. While there, he was an active member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, the Interfraternity Council Executive Board and the Institute for Leadership Advancement. Additionally, he was inducted into the Gridiron Secret Society, the Order of the Greek Horsemen and Blue Key Honor Society.
A native of Atlanta, Eddie grew up in Marietta and currently lives in Smyrna. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Marietta and active in his community as a member of the Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board, a member of the Atlanta Athletic Club and active in Leadership Ministries, Inc. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spends time volunteering at the Trinity House.
